1. Research Outline

Focusing on the "future vision" of sustainable and resilient urban development, we will construct a future city information infrastructure consisting of a Cyber Physical System (CPS) orchestration that operates in a backcast-oriented manner starting from a "future vision" created, edited, and shared in a virtual space by diverse people, and the generation, distribution, and actuation of super-resolution information using Beyond5G networks. The project will be demonstrated in the Shonan area in the southern part of Kanagawa Prefecture, particularly in terms of environment and disaster prevention.

2. Presentation of first-year research results at the "Regional IoT and Information Power Consortium" symposium

(1) Title: (Tentative) "Super Resolution Urban Sensing for Creation of Future City in 2030"
(2) Date: Monday, March 27, 2023, 13:30-17:30
(3) Location: Hall, North Building, Mita Campus, Keio University
(4) Registration fee: Symposium is free of charge *Please pay for the reception
(5) Capacity: 100 people
(6) Overview
By applying technologies for sensing all kinds of information in the city, machine learning technologies such as Deep Learning, etc., the power of information will be utilized in diverse fields such as smart homes, smart mobility, smart spaces, etc. The Regional IoT and Information Power Research Consortium was established in 2017 with the aim of building a smart city that enriches people's lives by creating services. The Consortium has promoted so-called "Regional DX" activities together with each local government in the Shonan area, each company of the Consortium members, and each university laboratory. The Consortium's activities have also led to several national professional activities, and last year in particular, the "ShonanFutureVerse" project, NICT's Beyond 5G project, was launched. We are pleased to announce that the 4th symposium of the "Regional IoT and Information Power Research Consortium" and the "ShonanFutureVerse" project will be held together under the theme of "Super Resolution Sensing for Future City Creation in 2030".
