The “Shonan Future Verse Project” will conduct a demonstration experiment utilizing generative AI and XR technology at Nagai Uminote Park Soleil Hill (Yokosuka-shi, Kanagawa-ken) for 2 days on November 15 and 16, 2025.
The “Shonan Future Verse Project” <*1> in which Kadinche Co., Ltd. is participating will conduct a demonstration experiment utilizing generative AI and XR technology at Nagai Uminote Park Soleil Hill (Yokosuka-shi, Kanagawa-ken) for 2 days on 2025/11/15 and 16.
The purpose of this demonstration is to resolve congestion using advanced technology and provide a comfortable park experience optimized for each visitor in response to “bias in human flow,” which is an issue of popular facilities visited by more than 1 million people a year.
1. Background of the initiative “The issue of 'uneven congestion' at popular parks”
Nagai Uminote Park Soleil Hill is a complex entertainment park that has been visited by over 1 million people a year since it was renewed in April 2023. On the other hand, there was a tendency for visitors to concentrate on some popular attractions, and the problem was that there was a bias in the flow of people (staying population) in the park.
2. Overview of the demonstration experiment “Future Park Experience with AI and XR”
In this demonstration experiment, we will implement the following 4 initiatives to solve this problem.
Period: 2025/11/15 (Sat) to 2025/11/16 (Sun) (planned)
Location: Nagai Uminote Park Soleil Hill
<Main Initiatives>
① Analysis and estimation of human flow: Traffic volume, travel routes, time spent, etc. of visitors are estimated by analyzing human flow data with cameras and sensors installed in the park.
② Visualization of congestion conditions: Using XR technology, the analyzed congestion situation is visualized in real time within a virtual city space.

③ Information provision (signage): Information on recommended events and attractions according to the congestion situation is displayed on signage based on visualized images.
④ Personalized guidance (voice): AI automatically recognizes visitors and individually guides recommended event/attraction information tailored to that person (group) by voice.
3. Future developments and the “Shonan Future Verse Project”
The “Shonan Future Verse Project” is an initiative in which NTT East, Keio University, Kyoto University, the National University Corporation, the University of Tokyo, I Transport Lab Co., Ltd., Cadinche Co., Ltd., and Zenrin Datacom Co., Ltd. <*1> participate and are proceeding with the development of a future city information infrastructure that responds to environmental and disaster prevention issues using the Shonan region in southern Kanagawa Prefecture as a field.
We are aiming to realize a next-generation urban information system by constructing a cyber-physical system (CPS) that reflects the image of a “future city” drawn in a virtual space into actual city development, and further utilizing Beyond 5G (6G) high-speed communication technology.
NTT East is responsible for the overall review (verification design, operation management, etc.) of this demonstration, and will contribute to social implementation of human flow optimization solutions and regional revitalization of the entire Shonan region based on the results of this study.
<*1>・・・NTT East, Keio University, National University Corporation Kyoto University, National University Corporation The University of Tokyo, I Transport Lab Co., Ltd., Cadinche Co., Ltd., Zenrin Datacom Co., Ltd. are the Reiwa 6 “Innovative Information and Communication Technology (Beyond 5G (6G)) Fund Project” of the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT)) “Innovative Information and Communication Technology (Beyond 5G (6G)) Fund Project” We are working on research and development of “Shonan Future Verse: Super Resolution Backcasting CPS Platform Based on Virtual City Future Images.”
