Kadinche Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takayuki Aoki) has developed a volume control application for “soil scan” jointly manufactured by Taisei Construction Co., Ltd. (President: Yoshiro Aikawa) and Measurement Technology Co., Ltd. (President: Yoshito Hashimura).
“Soil scan” is a technology that automatically measures and visualizes the amount of excavated sediment at high speed and with high accuracy by linking multiple 3D-LiDAR, which is a remote sensing technology using laser light, and this technology was developed as part of the “DX production process.” It is possible to save labor and improve the efficiency of excavation volume control work that until now has been performed by workers by hand.
The following 3 points have been found to be effective in this application.
(1) High-speed, high-accuracy automatic measurement and visualization of accumulated soil volume is possible
(2) Measurement from multiple directions is possible by linking multiple 3D-LiDARs
(3) Excavated soil volume can be grasped and managed anytime and anywhere
As an issue at the site where “DX of the production process” is implemented,
It has been mentioned, and in order to solve these problems, we have developed a technology to accurately and quickly automatically measure and visualize excavated soil volume accumulated within a work yard by linking multiple 3D-LiDAR units that can be measured with high speed and high accuracy using laser light and using them in combination with a volume management application.
The performance and effectiveness of this technology was confirmed at the Oji Water Supply Station (tentative name) drainage pond construction work (orderer: Tokyo Metropolitan Waterworks Bureau; construction: Taisei/Iwata Chizaki/Kandenko JV).
