KADINCHE CORPORATION, IN COLLABORATION WITH SECOM CO., LTD. HAS DEVELOPED A NEW APPLICATION FOR TRAINING THAT INCORPORATES "GAMIFICATION," AN APPROACH THAT USES ELEMENTS OF GAMES IN NON-GAME AREAS IN TRAINING PROGRAMS THAT UTILIZE VIRTUAL REALITY (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS VR) TECHNOLOGY. THE APPLICATION IS DESIGNED TO BE USED FOR TRAINING PROGRAMS THAT USE VIRTUAL REALITY (VR) TECHNOLOGY.

The newly developed application features a high level of interactivity by incorporating elements of gamification in patrol/inspection in the virtual space, while being based on live-action images.

WE DEVELOPED AN APPLICATION THAT ALLOWS USERS TO PERFORM SIMULATED INSPECTIONS IN A VR SPACE PROJECTED ON A HEAD-MOUNTED DISPLAY, EVALUATE THE WORK BY SCORING POINTS BASED ON ACCURACY AND TIME, AND PROMOTE REPETITIVE LEARNING TO IMPROVE SCORES.

By reproducing realistic situations using real space images, the program aims not only to learn the default inspection items, but also to hone a sense of detecting abnormalities in the field.
