With the Himalayas as the third pole after Antarctica and the Arctic, this international conference is a conference to discuss global warming, which is one of the issues common to these polar regions, and the melting of glaciers due to it. This was the 2nd meeting, and the venue for both sessions was ICIMOD: International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development, which is based in Kathmandu, and South Asian countries with the Himalayas and Finnish universities in the Arctic are the organizers.

The presentation from our company applied the 3D simulation and visualization technology we have cultivated so far to visualizing the process from the collapse of a glacier lake to flooding in a village. Specifically, the location of the glacial lake was identified by satellite image analysis, and a fixed amount of water flow was flowed from there to create a reproduction image of the flood. We investigated actual glacial lake collapse floods (GLOF) that occurred in 2024 and 2025, and verified the amount of water and damage. The video used in the presentation is posted below.

We will brush up on accuracy and 3D simulator functions so that we can provide 3D simulations for regions at risk of glacial lake collapse, and promote cooperation with related research institutes, non-profit organizations, etc.
