Kadinche Co., Ltd. is developing PanoPlaza Camera, a surveillance camera system using 360-degree cameras, fisheye cameras, etc. and Razpi.

　With PanoPlaza Camera, there was a need not only for displaying images but also for detecting people, detecting objects, etc., so we first examined and developed a human detection system, developed a number of people display system using the Razpi 4 as an edge, and exhibited it at the Security Show held at Big Sight from 2025/3/4 to 7.

　This AI number of people detection system uses only the Razpi 4 to detect people using face recognition, and it is a system that can count how many people are in the image in real time, and with the combination of the camera and lens used in the demonstration, it is possible to detect people up to a distance of about 10 meters.

　A PC was used as the display system, and the number of people detected and the detected images were sent to a web server built within the PC, and displayed in a browser.

　The camera was demonstrated in combination with a camera for the Raspberry Pi, an Intanya cube case, and a wide-angle lens. Intanya lenses can be combined according to where the camera is installed and the area where people are to be detected. Also, since it is possible to connect not only a camera for the Raspberry Pi, but also a USB camera, etc., it is possible to select a camera according to the application.

　We will continue to advance various research and development, such as updating the number of people detection systems, developing AI functions such as detecting objects other than humans, updating from Razpi 4 to 5, and utilizing AI HAT+.
